I <em>do</em> remember plenty from the early '50s, though, whether I want to or not.<br /><br />One thing was a weekly television show called <em>Your Hit Parade</em> which featured the Top Ten songs in skits. They had to come up with something new to act out <em>The Ballad of Davy Crockett</em> every week for almost the whole of 1955.
