...What a beauty! And tough as nails, I'll bet.

I bought an old VW bug in upperstate NY when I got discharged, and the weather was just like that when I bought it.

My Bug wasn't expensive ($140) but it wasn't too great in cold weather, as it had virtually no floorboards (rusted out) and the heater didn't work either (also rusted out.) I got a sheet of tin & several old sleeping bags to line the floorboards, but had to be careful where I put my feet.

I would really have preferred something like this, heater or no heater!
Eskymanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15947922645001422523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533651942397782565.post-85756549499183620462017-09-07T18:20:36.431-07:002017-09-07T18:20:36.431-07:00Want.Want.Greghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14314137039675420331noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4533651942397782565.post-45838716991204335942017-09-07T16:17:04.672-07:002017-09-07T16:17:04.672-07:00Those old heaters were sort of a box near the floo...Those old heaters were sort of a box near the floorboard and the heat radiated out. In a small cab they'd cook you if you kept them on.LLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05538854359365988863noreply@blogger.com
