  2. The art of the flier is when they tune the blade.
    A blade will get warped when a chip gets between the table creating a hot area.
    The heat / warp will cause the blade to become unbalanced in seconds.

    Then the filer will take that warped blade place it on a special anvil and hit it with a special hammer until it is back in the shape that it is supposed to have.

    I have warped a few and had the filer shake his head at me.
