And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I had a somewhat similar experience, although less rotations, back about 30 years ago. Was driving my Saab 900 Turbo and took a sharp bend a little fast. Right around that bend was a big stone archway that supported a railroad track overpass. It was not a full two lanes wide. The Saab did a complete rotation right thru the middle of that overpass. After my heart and breathing slowed down, I checked to see if I had to drive home to change my britches! Thanks goodness it wasn't necessary...
I'd have stone walls too, if people drove like that in my neighborhood.
