  1. LL, if it is an AA Tank, isn't it firing a little low? Or, AA doesn't mean Anti-Aircraft?

  2. AAAA tanks and other vehicles have a long and glorious history as anti-personnel systems also.

    The US M-16 multiple .50 cal AAA mount (usually 4 x .50s) was affectionately known as "The Chopper" when used against infantry.

    Kinda like how the AC-130 gunships use 20mm Vulcan rotary cannons, originally designed as an air-to-air weapon, and 40mm Bofors, originally a ground-to-air gun, for thrashing ground targets.

  3. range of tongusta at the local horizon: three klicks. range of hellfire: somewhat further. acquisition and tracking radar is a dead giveaway. ruskis have much better than that for organic division to company level air defense.
