  2. had a job like that when i was very much younger. stacked 130 pound zinc ingots all night long at anaconada metals in montana. gave me an appreciation for hard work. did a bit of hard rock mining before i figured out that guys a large as me shouldn't work in little holes in the ground as that time will come soon enough to us all.

  3. I had a job when I was 18 putting 125-lb. drawbars on bulldozers in an Allis-Chalmers plant. I weighed 140 lbs. at that point, and I definitely learned to lift with my legs.

    The guy I was replacing was in his 40's and a lot smaller than I was.

  4. I used to have to tighten double-acting compressor crosshead nuts about
    that size with striker wrench. Once drawn up it 20 good kits with a 20 pound
    sledge hammer. It was a real workout considering some of the comoressors
    had 6 crossheads.
