And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Happened to us coming into O'Hare. Right after it hit, we dropped about 5k. A nun was across the isle from me knitting and when I looked over those needles were going so fast she could have made a afghan in a hour. (before 9/11= needles)
you haven't lived until you've had ball lightning bounce down the aisle while the plane is climbing thru a snow storm and cloud deck north of Montreal.
No problem except a few cockpit displays flickering unless the plane's dragging a 38,000 ft. ground wire.

ReplyDeleteIt’s very common for a strike higher or further forward on the fuselage to exit at those trailing wing tips. Looks like that to me.
