And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

King Abdullah and the Crown Prince. Bad ass, both of them.
The Jordanians are good friends of the US. They also seem to have a history of their Kings being pretty bad-ass dudes. I remember one of the previous Kings was even the pilot of his 747!
And my goodness. That Queen Raina is insanely cute. The photo of her and Melania is terrific. Long Live The King!

As for King Abdullah being a bad ass, remember when Isis executed that Jordanian pilot by burning him to death in a cage? The king personally insisted on leading a retaliation attack against Isis. I think I recall reading he flew his own attack aircraft.
