A Swedish soldier aims his Carl Gustav m/45

Keeping the Russians and Germans out of Sweden.  It's a big job.

  1. The Swedish K stands out in that era as one of the most reliable SMG's. They were favored by CIA operators in Vietnam and Laos and stitched many a living target.

    1. I'd love to play with one, but, you know, our government just can't trust a peon like me with a toy like that.

  2. I recently rewatched Band of Brothers and found that I hadn't remembered all the times the guys referred to bringing souvenir Lugers & other weapons home. (Though one fellow managed to shoot himself with one & died from the wound; that was Hoobler's Luger, and was apparently fictional.)

Of course that was back when we still had a free country and you could do things like that. I wonder how many submachine guns came home that were never accounted for?
