Exposed and dependent: Germany desperate to avoid trade war

Which is why The Donald will ultimately cut a trade deal with them that will be far better for Americans.

In 2017, German exports to the United States reached 112 billion euros, more than twice the next biggest EU country, Britain, according to the Eurostat statistics office.
“Germany’s problem is a lack of realism with respect to its own fragile strategic situation,” said Jan Techau, a director at The German Marshall Fund of the United States, a think tank.
He said Berlin also showed a lack of awareness of the consequences of its economic policies and failed to realize “its own strategic long-term interests are largely similar to those of the U.S.”

  1. President Trump understands trade and he understands making good trade deals - which disturbs the globalists who planned (long term) to have the US weakened through unfavorable deals. There is a lot of profit to be made by sucking the US dry on trade and stupid global warming expense even as the climate cools. President Trump's efforts to MAGA have seriously disrupted that plan.
