  1. That's about the average size that we used to catch in a tiny feeder stream up in the mountains. We would use a #14 or #16 with the barb filed off so that you could release them quickly. Sure are little cuties.......

    1. There was a stream near where I used to live and they got up to about 8" at the largest. Most were around 6".
