And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Ah yes, the Japanese P-3C. I was attached to VP-30 in the early 80's when they started training their operators on the new birds. I have several hours on "Redball 01" the first P-3C built for them by Lockheed. And that picture is definitely a composite. P-3 pilots get very nervous when there is more than one plane within a mile of each other. Formation flyers they are not!
Ray, I have heard that the Electra/Orion is unique in that it handles like a single engine plane. I have seen footage of an Electra fire fighter flying the contour of a mountain while dropping retardant at tree-top level. Can you comment on its maneuverability? Thanks,
