I dunno, a little work, and it might be a good commuter

Plus, it's EMP resistant, repairable by a klutz, runs on regular, it's cheap to register, no one wants to steal it, and it can't be hacked or electronically tracked by the CIA/FBI/NSA.

What's not to like?

    1. Maybe it even has a slant six under the hood. I want one.

  2. My wife had one with a slant six. Nice little car except here in the Mid-west, there was a problem with the frames rusting. On the slant six, the side where the valve cover was at would usually leak enough oil to keep it from rusting. However, on the other side the cross member holding the torsion bar socket would rust and then the torque of the bar would spin the socket. I fixed several of those over the years.

  3. Heck, I'd steal it and so would a lot of others.
They are getting harder to find and more expensive.

  4. I was always told that you simply couldn't kill a slant 6. Then my cousin Evan gets a Duster with one in it and 18k on the clock. After he had it for a little over a year, I get a phone call one day and he asks me, "I pulled the air cleaner off because the engine was making a funny noise and it looks like oil is spitting up from inside whatever the thing on top is, is that bad?" I know my uncle gave the car a thorough once-over before my cousin paid for it and pronounced it in very good shape. I'll never forget the look on the mechanics face as he asked my cousin, "Ummm, what the hell did you do to this thing? I mean it takes some serious abuse to get oil coming up through the carbeuretor." I never did find out what exactly he did to it.

    1. I just found the picture on a tumblr. I got no idea where it is or whether it's still for sale, but it looks like it's in Arizona or Nevada.
