Syrian Kurds take out a Turkish Leopard tank in Afrin Province

Ouch!  Gotta keep that armor moving.

  1. The Turks were unable to make it to Afrin. Anti-tank missiles held back their armor and man portable air defense systems (Stingers) kept their air assets from engaging the Kurds on the ground. There was some high level bombing of Afrin but the Kurds evacuated the city and disbursed to a defense in depth AROUND the city (difficult targets for bombing at 50,000 ft.).

  2. Good for them.....the Turks genocidal mission moves on, evidently with the full approval of the useless UN....
