And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

When the kids were smaller, I bought everyone a pair of snowshoes
But Christmas is coming, and I'd advise everyone to stock up on batteries, all kinds of them!
One Christmas I didn't- and naturally, all the toys my kids wanted to play with the most required batteries that I didn't have. (I also didn't know that they were getting those toys, but that excuse doesn't cut it with the offspring!)
Snow shoes are fun, and good exercise, and don't require batteries, come to think of it so are kids!
