Hmm. Mossberg Shockwave

  1. Whew. That guy is way too cranked up. I'd never feel comfortable in the presence of an armed man with nerves like that.

  2. IIRC the Shockwave is NOT able to shoot 3" Magnum loads, anyone know for sure? Yeah, I know I can look up the specs ;-) Which brings up another issue, will it function with mini-shells? If so, one might be on my 'want' list. Or I could just go with the 20ga that they just brought out. Decisions, decisions.

  3. Looks like he's very right, the strap is necessary!

I'm not familiar with short barreled shotguns, but the "case of the disappearing hand" looks all too possible!

    1. There's some ugly pictures on the internet of people who got their hand in front of the barrel. Not good.

  4. Clint is "enthusiastic", and a great instructor, one of the best around. His style is intense, but he keeps it interesting and memorable. One thing he referred to was using the ShockWave as a car gun - check your local laws, since a firearm that is not a pistol might not be legal to carry loaded in the passenger compartment. For example, I think in NC it is illegal to have a concealed loaded rifle or shotgun in the passenger compartment, but a pistol is fine if you have a CCH permit. Thus an AR or AK pistol is covered by your permit.

  5. Anon @ 1:44 the Shockwave does take 3" shells and it will cycle mini shells with the Opsol mini clip ($15) on Amazon. I have had this gun since March and I really like it.
