The evolution of Trans World Airlines: A Ford Trimotor sits alongside a Boeing 707, 32 years between each aircraft’s first flight.

  1. I flew TWA to Australia back in 1973.

It was civilized then; pretty stewardesses who handed out 3-packs of cigarettes, free drinks & food, and even leg room. The bulkhead screen wasn't that good for watching the movie, though.

I miss those times. Flying today is something I try hard to avoid.
