Non veni pacem mittere, sed gladium.
Why the passenger step-ladders hanging out in mid-flight?
not a mistake that's where it stayed
Anybody remember SkyKing sat am back in the 50s
Yup, but Kirby "Sky King" Grant flew a Cessna "T-50" Bobcat in the TV series... later upgraded to the Cessna 310 when it came out!! The "Bobcat" had a conventional tail and would only hold about 4 maybe 6 passengers... also the Bobcat was nicknamed the "Bamboo Bomber' as some of its structure was wood and fabric covered 2 300 hp Shaky jakes on the front... the Beech "18" was "All Metal" could hold 11 or 12 people (We used to put 10 + Pilot when skydiving!!) 2 450hp. P&W radials, also the Beech had a twin tail photo shows probably the only 2 "18's" that were set up on floats!!skybill
I met Sky King at a promotional event in a shopping center parking lot when I was 6 years old. About 1963. Thanks for reminding me.
Looks like fun!
