  2. I'd noticed the stirrups and the shoes, I'd have never noticed the rawhide reata, though I have used one a couple times from the ground. (You should see what my spell-check is trying to do with "reata!" - lol )

    2. Brig, what's the deal with ring stirrups? I've been around horse gear before, but I'd never seen a ring stirrup until this picture. Do they have some advantage over regular stirrups?

    4. Ok, so Josie probably grew up riding, so she knows the proper riding position, and thus the oxbow stirrups help her maintain that position. Makes sense. Thanks for the education.
