Clawing the couch, cougar style.


  1. The scaled down offspring of the Sabre Toothed Tiger. Not "The Plane, the plane." "The claws, the claws."
    Spotted sometimes on various chestpieces of significance among Native American
    Tribal Chiefs. The bigger the teeth/claws, the bigger the chiefs balls were. He wore his status as a leader on his chest.
    The people could read that and know what he had achieved.
    I wonder sometimes about how we manage to survive being so ignorant.

  2. That reminds me of a dusky girlfriend that I had in my callow youth. She was a Canadian aptly named Becky Panther. Half French/half Blood Indian.

  3. It's always fun to visit our property on the CO-WY border and find fresh tracks and tree scratches. It reminds me that we are visiting their home, not the other way around...
