Looks like something from a Japanese horror movie

On April 4, 2017, one of the world’s largest tunneling machines chewed through more than 1,000 tons of concrete and fiberglass to end a 1.7 mile journey underneath downtown Seattle. With a drone’s eye view, this video shows the raw power of Bertha’s breakthrough - start to finish.

  1. If I ever decide to become a mad scientist, this piece of equipment will be at the top of my list. I think the first place I need to tunnel is coming up under the Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) home. Imagine how excited he'd be to see those teeth chewing the floor of his bedroom.
