Forging a corkscrew

4 comments:

  1. I've worked a lot in hot glass as a hobby. I enjoyed the challenge and the craftsmanship required to turn out something beautiful. To me, this would represent a next step, which is why I need a "forge of dreams" to be built near the "cabin of dreams". In order to pay cash for it, I need to continue to work because I know that the forge won't pay for itself with stuff I make, but it would be fun, right?

    1. Very fun. Working is why we can dream our dreams - it pays the way and trains us to appreciate the finer things.

  2. Looks like you know what you are doing. When you do, it is really easy

    1. Well, that's not me in the video, although I'd have a nice forge out in the barn if I really had the time to learn and practice a little blacksmithing. But, I've got four or five other "wanna do" hobbies in line in front of it. Maybe when i retire and move to Alaska/Wyoming/Arizona/Pacific Northwest....
