Roger Simon knocks it out of the park with this analysis

Every time Trump called for bipartisanship for the good of our country, they winced.  They couldn't stand it and didn't know how to react because they are the least bipartisan people in the world and they scarcely know what cooperating is.  Working together is not in their natures.  Yes, they talk about it endlessly but they never do it. (See: the history of the Soviet Union) Maybe it's not in their DNA.  (I should check mine.)

When the speech was over -- after there was no longer a dry eye in the house from the introduction of the widow of the Navy SEAL -- they left the room faster than fans of the losing team after the Super Bowl, only in this case they left so stunned you had to wonder if they would ever win the game again or even compete.
The Democrats -- the silly ladies dressed in white and all the others -- bet the house that Trump would make a fool of himself and Donald cut the legs out from under them. And when you bet the house and lose, you go home bankrupt.  And without a home to go to.
He cut the Democrats' legs out in the worst way, exposing them for the empty party they are with nothing going for them but identity politics.

There has to be a huge value to being underestimated and misunderstood, but by now, after The Donald broke all expectations by winning the Republican primary and then the Presidency against a seasoned and well funded foe, against the MSM, and against the efforts of his own party, you would think they should recognize him as a dangerous predator.

Maybe now, when it may well be too late, they will see the threat.  For PDT, it's a huge opportunity to go to selected members of the opposition and pick them off one by one, which after last night, more and more will be willing to do.  He's already done it with Manchin, and he's doing it with the private sector unions, and you can bet Nancy Pelosi will be losing allies right and left as the winning continues.

Yes, in a sense they will be rats leaving a sinking ship, but if those rats assist PDT in solving the nation's problems, and moving us back to cultural sanity and economic well being, it will be well worth it.

I was a Ted Cruz man, but more and more I'm believing in The Donald.

  1. I read a comment this morning in response to last night's address that went, "President Trump took Excalibur and plunged it into the heart of the Democratic demon." Judging by the look on her face, I'd venture to say that Nancy is all heart.

  2. Had just ONE of those "Women in White" stood and applauded the Navy SEAL widow, support from her constituents and her reputation would have skyrocketed. Dems are so spiteful and short-sited that my schaudenboner grows every POTUS makes an appearance.
