Flood damaged vineyard

While running errands today, I drove past this vineyard near Lockeford that has been damaged by the recent high water.

In this picture, the water course is to the right, and it flooded into the vineyard, bringing with it all the brush and slash that had been collecting in the gulch for years.  In fact, below the rail you can see the trunk of a full sized tree that washed through.  The wires holding the vines caught all the trash, and resulted in this mess.  I guess the farmer has either written the seven or eight worst rows off, or is waiting until later in the spring to clean up, in case more high water comes.

Anyway, an interesting picture of the winter high water damage that is peppered all about the valley.
