  1. I've read that the large 'spikes' at the bottom were following along the guy wires that stabilized the tower.

  4. Fireball is 20meters in diameter not 20 miles according to other sources that can easily be Googled. Wikipedia seems to have an error. The 20 mile number didn't smell right because the devise is detonated on a tower...that would be some tower. But impressive none the less.
