Non veni pacem mittere, sed gladium.
I always make comments about the fishing holes of dreams, but one of the coolest things that I caught at my local trout stream was an Orange Crush bottle from the early 1920s. That was only second to a Hutchinson type soda bottle from the late 1890s.....................
That belongs in my den.
You and me both, but it wouldn't be filled with soda........
I can remember begging my mom foe a nickel to get a soda out of a machine almost exactly like that. I remember crying when they raised the price to a dime and I thought my mommy would never buy me another one. (A dime was a lot of money to me when I was five)---Ray
I can remember as a child, there was a small general store up in the Adirondacks that had a orange crush machine painted the same only was a horizontal chest. The tall glass soda bottles were in a rack submerged in cold water. I always picked out a bottle of Wink. Funny how certain things can just bring you back.
Am I the only one who used church key to get free pop?
