And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

The snowbank in front of the Sentinel Dome webcam is growing
If were lucky, it will eventually completely obscure the view, as has occasionally happened. Then, we know we have a beautiful, sweet snowpack that will keep everyone happy in the blistering hot summer.
Another 4 to 6 feet tonight. I'm happy with all the precipitation, but I feel it just buys the CA progs more time to put off needed water project infrastructure.
Our brilliant legislators in Sacramento will open all the dams, empty all the lakes, drain all the rivers into the sea, just in case some worm may get wet.
But I'm enjoying being able to run my faucets, until Sacramento "fixes" things!
I don't think that there's enough snow to keep the progs happy.
