  1. Why don't they make them like that now? Seriously. Oh, I understand EPA regulations, but these rigs are not meant for the infernal cities and can't keep up at freeway speeds anyway.

    1. Yeah, but all that is easily solvable with a modern drivetrain. I'd bet a little freshening up of the body work, a new drivetrain, and an ethos of simplicity and economy could produce a wonderful machine that would get up to highway speeds, sip gas, have decent power, and be true to the original Jeep. Dreaming, dreaming....
