    What a trip, Beech 18's "On Floats!!" no less!!! If I had a nickle for every "10-MAN STAR" we went for out of one of those,(without floats of course!!) I'd be good for at least a couple 'a cases of BEER!! Early "Skydivin'" was done mostly from 4 to 6 place Cessnas. Then some DZO introed a Beech 18. Ya' could generally get 10 jumpers in one, $7.50 (in the early 70's) to 12,500 ft. Down the hall, tun right and "DIVE!!!!" down to the "BASE!!" Too Much FUN!! The "Turbine Babies" of today "Have No Clue!!!"

  2. Made my first jump from one of these in 1981 at the Badcau reserve near Shreveport, LA.
