Good, or not?

I should probably invest in this as a bit of light summer reading

  1. Good, yes. If you are a beer drinker I highly recommend Innis & Gunn from Scotland.

  2. It is my favorite Scotch for less than $100 a bottle. I don't buy it often but I fully enjoy it.

  3. Very good, I prefer Bruichladdich though.

  4. They also make a 14 year old doublewood. It's a little smoother.

  5. If you're just entering the wonderful world of Single Malt Scotches - Welcome! I've been collecting for many years, and am going to have to build myself a bar with a good rack to display my collection, one of these days. Are really good Scotches expensive? Usually, but they don't have to be. And even thought they're a bit on the 'pricey' side - it's not like you're going to finish a bottle a week. I consider a each new Scotch I buy to be an investment - and typically, they last me quite a long time. And while the book is a good idea, I also recommend a couple of other free resources: http://scotchaddict.com/ - a blog by a guy's journey from newbie to journeyman scotch aficionado (start *way* back w/his first post & read forward. It's an interesting journey, plus his blog has a 'blogroll' of other related blogs), and Ralfy's Youtube channel - where a fellow has made a name for himself reviewing scotches: https://www.youtube.com/user/ralfystuff
    Enjoy!
