An annotated portrayal of the Apollo 12 landing on the Moon with captions to explain the various stages of the descent, from PDI (powered descent initiation) to touchdown.

Still, after all these years, lots of tension, with a big "whew" when they touch down



"Beautiful, plenty of gas babe," Alan Bean. It's also fun to hear how excited they were when they saw how close the guidance computer had placed them to their landing site. It was a long trip for such a nice and tidy pin point landing.

  2. Were those astronauts "social justice warriors" ??? If not, why not??? Clearly, engineering and science has no place in modern society....
