  2. Had a few of those at MCAS Yuma in the 60's. They were in the same livery as the side number 093 in the foreground of the picture. Of course they weren't anywhere near as clean and "spiffy" looking.

  4. Worked at Whiting Field NATC near Milton, Fl. in the late 60's.....loved the Trojans....they were a flashback to a different time....back then WWII was only 20 years previous....the roar of those radials was a stark contrast to the jets....beautiful airplane....

  5. The Tennessee Museum of Aviation in Sevierville has a number of airworthy aircraft in it's stable. Most notable are TWO operational P-47s, along with this T-28.
