And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Snowing in Yosemite right now, May 7th, just before noon.
Brigid Jr. got married in Mid May in the rockies. She had a Hawaiian themed wedding (her Mom through adoption is native Hawaiian). All the bridesmaid dresses were sleeveless. They got almost a foot and a half of snow. They ended up having all the girls redo their hair and outfits to pose with the guys for the outdoor pictures she wanted a couple of weeks later, after which she had food and beer and fun for all involved. I had my reception at an Irish Pub - we registered at Midway for gifts.
