And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Farmers kill 800 pound alligator that was eating their cattle.
Depth of field is your friend. Kid is visibly at the other side of the tractor, gator hanging off this side. Chance of either one being in contact with the other are slim to none. Just like all those photo's of the guy/gal/kid holding up the leaning tower, the sun or other celestial objects. Makes for a good photo though.
