And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Daily reader X 2 Frost saw this C-47 "Tico Belle" at last month's 2016 MacDill AFB Airfest. He also says that you don't realize how steep the incline angle is inside the plane until you try to make your way to the cockpit.
I got to take a quick trip in Gen. Hap Arnold's command aircraft for Operation Overlord about 25 years ago. At the time it belonged to Otis Spunkmeyers Cookies owner, don't know where it is now though. Amazing aircraft, the C-47.
