The Top Secret Drum Corps of Basel, Switzerland

Top Secret Drum Corps is a precision drum corps based in Basel, Switzerland. With 25 drummers and colorguard members, the corps became famous for its demanding six-minute routine performed at the Edinburgh Tattoo in 2003. With its invitation to Edinburgh, Top Secret became one of the first non-military, non-British Commonwealth acts to perform on the Esplanade at Edinburgh Castle.

  1. Enjoy your drums while you can, boys. Because, you see, Mohammad didn't like percussion instruments.

  2. I used to live just about two blocks from the west end of the Edinburgh Castle. In the summer, during the city festival in August, there is the Tattoo. It's not to be missed. The high latitudes mean that it doesn't get dark until late during summer but once the sun disappears over the horizon, the Tattoo begins. You need to put it on your bucket list, CW.
