And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Mondays, they're like that
Kid, just turn around, grab that goose by the head, and beat the juice out of it.
When you're little, geese can be terrifying. I remember being that age and chased by them. When I got a bit older, I brought a stick and whacked them, but the first time they come at you when you believed all this time that they were nice is startling.
They have a wicked scary hiss sound they make. And they have teeth. I was an adult before I got close enough to a goose to see its teeth. They are nasty birds. They do make great "guard" geese!
When I was 4, I was attacked by one of my Granny's geese, fell on a pile of old steel roofing, and cut myself bad enough to need stitches. Well, Granny fixed that by teaching me the old "grab them by the neck" trick and before long, they RAN when they save me coming!
