Cabin Porn

Blackhouse, Isle of Lewis, Outer Hebrides, Scotland. Love that background, and would love it more in a gale.

  1. I'm near certain that they'd be burning peat in those fires as well. There are no coal mines in Lewis, and money is dear there.

  2. I could really grab some good sleep at that location. Nothing beats the rhythmic pounding of the surf to promote sleep. I think it's ingrained in our amphibian genetic makeup. It's a beautiful cabin, to boot.

  3. I've been to the Outer Hebrides several times and every time I go back I'm in awe. Put a visit there on top of your travel bucket list. You won't be disappointed. Suggestion: don't go between October and April.
