Chaos in Libya

After battles in Libya between ISIL and other forces (who knows who's fighting who in Hillary's destroyed country anymore) on January 4–6, 2016, several fires were observed at oil production and storage facilities near Sidra, on the coast between Sirte and Benghazi. Smoke plumes from several oil tanks and facilities spread a pall of black smoke across the nation’s Mediterranean coast.  Oh, sorry, I mean former nation.
At 2:05 p.m. Libya time (12:05 Universal Time) on January 6, the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS) on NASA’s Aqua satellite captured an image (top) of smoke plumes rising from the fires and blowing to the east and northeast.
If I were the Italians, say just as an example,  I'd invade, push all Arabs out, and secure my oil supply permanently.

  1. The nuke their ass and steal their gas scenario makes sense.

  2. Italy couldn't handle Ethiopia without resorting to poison gas. I doubt they could even get to Libya. I think the only amphibious capability they have are the ferries that run to Capri and Messina. Otherwise, it's an excellent plan.

    1. If Scipio could do it in 204 BC, the Italians of today ought to be able to figure a way. I suppose they could offer plunder as an inducement. Trump has already threatened to "take" the oil the Iranians have, to punish them, thereby setting the precedent. Heck, the Italians have a claim on the country dating back to the Roman Republic, long before the Arabs ever ventured out of the desolate Arabian deserts.

  3. I hope this haunts Hillary during the general campaign, especially in light of her comment at the time of the overthrow - "We came, we saw, He died".
