  2. The F-22 has a single axis (up/down) vectored thrust. While the multi-axis mechanism IS nice to look at, the increased complexity and weight penalty is probably not worth it.

    1. After I started watching the video I realized I had seen it before. True, it's an impressive display at most any airshow, but do these abilities bring anything new to modern air combat? I'm certainly not a pilot, but I would like to hear the input from someone who knows of the valid tactics utilizing these features.
