And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

You've correctly identified the thing that I hate most about Christmas...wrapping gifts. I have those that I can professionally wrapped at unreasonable expense, but I'm still left with all of the kid stuff that I bought at Costco to wrap on my own.

ReplyDeleteI used to save money by wrapping the kid's presents using the funny pages from the Sunday paper, until my wife made me stop it.

DeleteCW, LOL.... that is funny that you wrapped presents with the funny papers... I have done that for years! Now my grandkids expect it...
ReplyDeleteIt's the best, I think. Cost is zero, it's green ( recycling!), and it looks good. You can get the ink on your fingers, though.
