Another bird flies away

Well, tomorrow I'm loading the boy into the truck and driving him up to University of Portland so he can check in and start college.  Two out of three away, one finishing high school next year.  Life flies forward, and this change is bittersweet to be sure.

    1. As a member of the empty nest club, I feel your pain. I really do. They need to do what they're doing, but you need them for who they are as well.

    2. Cmom, they do seem to grow up too fast, but then again we want them to go be their own persons eventually. But when eventually becomes today...

      LL, thanks; it seems that it's time to make another one of life's big adjustments. I'll just "man up" and do it, I guess.
