Warthogs = pretty much indestructible

Damaged by an Iraqi missile during Operation Iraqi Freedom.  The guys that shot the missile must have been despondent to see the hit, but then watch the hog simply fly away.  Might as well pack up your bags and go home, cause you won't be bringing that plane down.

  2. It's one of the finest aircraft EVER built.

    Naturally, USAF wants to replace it with something totally unsuited for close air support. In a more generous world, USAF would transfer the aircraft to US Army, but that would be giving up turf and the USAF generally would rather be de-nutted than see that happen.

    2. LL, it seems that most of the generals and admirals have been de-nutted for the last five years.
