Happy tax day!

Including tasers, snipers, stun grenades and snarling dogs.   God knows I'm paying my share, and also the share of the 47% who pay nothing.

  1. Plenty of those 47% are working poor who pay plenty in taxes and get very little in return. They pay payroll and excise taxes to the Feebs, supporting the Middle Class and rich. That idiotic comment was one of the main reasons Romney lost. Blue collar whites stayed at home in the last election rather than come out and vote for one of two candidates who both expressed open hatred of them.

    1. Clarification: Income taxes, which is what we are all paying today.

    2. Taxes are taxes. I have seen plenty of self employed people have to pay payroll taxes when they filed their April 15th taxes.
It used to be that Conservatives didn't equate paying geld to the Federal government as a good thing. The more people not paying taxes the better.
The Federal government used to be supported solely by tariffs and import export fees. Of course we weren't able to meddle all around the world back then. But that was a good thing.

    3. Excellent point about meddling. Maybe a flat tax at a much reduced rate would go a long way to keeping the size of government down and our nose out of other people's business.

  2. I'm proud to be paying so much so that so many who the government caused to lose their health insurance through legislation can have ObamaCare and go to the few doctors that accept it. It makes me feel very warm inside...
