Quake in LA

And pansy newsreaders panic and dive under their desk.  Just ride the wave, baby!

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A 4.4-magnitude earthquake and at least six aftershocks shook Southern California Monday morning.
The tremor struck at 6:25 a.m. and was “epicentered in the Santa Monica Mountains between Westwood and Encino, closer to the Valley side, about five miles below the surface,” Dr. Lucy Jones of the U.S. Geological Survey said.
Still, the fearful denizens of LA should keep in mind that just about a week ago a 6.9 quake hit up off the coast of Eureka, in far Northern California.   If they were spooked by a puny 4.4, it's only left to the imagination on how much hollering and arm waving would occur if a similar shock hit in the southland.
