M1 Garand chambered in 458 WIn Mag

I had a Ruger once in 458.  It warn't no gun for babies.  Rhinos and bears stand no chance against this.

This gunsmithing by McCann Industries.

  1. Who was the idiot that thought that up? As a Garand owner and shooter one of the first things I learned about the almost 90 year old Garand is; NO HEAVY LOADS!! The fastest way to a bent op-rod , cracked bolt lug , or KB in a Garand is a hot loaded Cart. That Idea is right up there with a .470 Nitro AR-15.---Ray

    1. I imagine that if "McCann Industries" wants to avoid a flock of lawsuits, they have re engineered everything to handle the load. It's probably a Garand, as we know it, in name only.

  2. I'd be content with a vintage WW2 M-1 Garand in 30-06
