Last night my youngest and I were sitting in the front room watching a movie, when she suddenly turned her head and looked outside, exclaiming, "look at that, look at that!!"

It was another fireball, much smaller that the Russian, naturally, but still far bigger than the run of the mill shooting star.  We live hard up against the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, and the fireball was out to the west, likely over the ocean.  No sound.

Looks like they saw this in San Francisco as well.

For some reason there are more space rocks going past our little earth than normal.
