At the farm wife's request, I have started the day long process to bake up a big loaf of Shepherd's bread.  The yeast is in the water awakening right now, and after a few minutes I'll start mixing in the flour.  Takes all day, basically, to let it rise a couple of times, knead it down, and then bake it, but good things take time.

The farm wife has brought some dried cranberries home from the store, and I'll mix those in the dough. Makes the bread really Christmas-y.  And tasty!
