Let's review the state of the nation and the world now that Captain Lightfart has been re elected by the parasites.

Jobless claims jump, worst in Pennsylvania and Ohio.  Ohio wasn't affected that much by Hurricane Sandy, so that's not the sole explanation.

War in the Middle East, with missles and bombs raining down on Israel and Gaza.  More probably to come shortly.

U.S. Postal Service loses over 15 billion dollars.  Collapse to follow?  Everyone better start writing letters to all their friends and relatives (remember letters?).

Texas Instruments cuts 5% of their work force.  Just like Obama and the Progs like them: jobless and dependant on government for their next meal.

Democrats in Congress refuse to commit to making a budget, as required by law.

A Manhattan high rise, in the middle of the one of the most important cities in the most powerful, richest country on earth, is going on day 17 without power.

Anti austerity marches turn violent all across southern Europe.

The Federal Housing Administration, which has been desperately trying to prop up housing prices, is about the exhaust it's reserves.

Smithfield Foods announces it will shutter it's plant in swing state Virginia, casting 400 workers onto the tender mercies of the current administration.

Cummins Engines begins a series of layoffs that will result in the eventual loss of 1500 jobs in swing state Ohio.  Turning makers into takers one layoff at a time!

Xerox begins the process of throwing 2500 folks off the payroll.  Ouch!
