And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I was going to ask about the B-17 photo, if that was an old colorized photo or a restored B-17. I use to build models of WW2 bombers when I was a kid. Great photo.
That B-17 is the Nine-O-Nine, one of 14 that are still airworthy. And we built over 12,700? No wonder they call that Aluminum Overcast.
